What is PHIDEX?

The Philippine International Dive Expo (PHIDEX) 2022 is a dive trade and destination show which will feature the Philippines’ premier dive spots and the latest in dive and scuba tech by global brands and manufacturers.

Aside from these, PHIDEX will also host informative and inspirational talks, seminars, and sessions led by the biggest names in diving.

PHIDEX 2022 will be a hybrid show with a virtual component.

Where and when will PHIDEX take place?

PHIDEX 2022 will take place on August 19 to 21, from 11:00 am – 8:00 pm Function Rooms 1 and 2 of the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City, Philippines.

Who can register for PHIDEX?

PHIDEX 2022 is open to everyone with a passion for diving and the ocean. Dive enthusiasts, aspiring or new divers, dive professionals, dive travelers, underwater photographers, dive operators, dive establishments, dive shops and centers, marine conversationalists, and students are all welcome to register and participate in learning and industry networking.

How can I register for PHIDEX?

All visitors are encouraged to pre-register through our online portal – register.phidex.asia.

There will also be registration onsite. Registration will be required for the different expo dates. A new Tyvek wristband will be issued every day after registration.

Is there an entrance fee for PHIDEX?

Admission is free for all visitors.

We are interested in joining but will not be able to travel in person to attend the event. Will PHIDEX events and content be available virtually?

What can I buy at PHIDEX? Can I buy SCUBA equipment directly at PHIDEX?

Exhibition booths will showcase dive resorts and centres in different destinations, as well as top-rated dive gear and equipment.

PHIDEX will be a one-stop-shop for all things diving, including dive equipment, dive courses, dive travel, and marine conservation, as well as boating and water sports.

What are the health protocols in place at PHIDEX?

Attendees shall be required to present their proof of full vaccination such as cards or certificates before entering the venue. They are expected to wear well-fitted face masks, and to keep social distancing practices in mind while at PHIDEX. The venue shall provide thermal scanners upon entry and sanitation stations as well.

PHIDEX organizers reserve the right to deny entry to those who do not meet these requirements or follow these protocols.

What about accommodations and special rates for PHIDEX and/or other participants?

The list of PHIDEX participating partner hotels can be accessed at https://phidex.asia/visitors. Official partner hotels are offering special rates for PHIDEX participants.

To avail of these special rates, please register at phidex.asia and send the proof of PHIDEX registration (QR code or registration number) to the concerned hotel reservation officer upon reservation/booking for verification purposes.

What is the Dive Travel Exchange (TRAVEX) and who may participate?

TRAVEX is a two-day Business-to-Business (B2B) Meetings Program open to all DOT and/or PCSSD accredited dive operators/establishments (sellers) and international dive operators (buyers).

The event will have pre-scheduled appointments booked through a matchmaking platform. Virtual meeting options will be provided for participants who are not on-site.

Prospective sellers should register at phidex.asia as trade participant and buyers as hosted buyers.
