PHIDEX 2024 Exhibition Layout

Puerto Galera, the Diving Capital of the Philippines, is a coastal municipality in the province of Oriental Mindoro. The first class municipality has a land area of 247.85 square kilometers or 95.70 square miles which constitutes 5.85% of Oriental Mindoro’s total area. Its population as determined by the 2020 Census was 41,961.

The area has been recognized as a Man and Biosphere Reserve of UNESCO since 1976, signifying its commitment to preserving its natural resources and environment. Puerto Galera was awarded in 2005 having one of the most beautiful bays in the world, further highlights its exceptional beauty. With more than 32 world-class dive sites, it is home to 62 dive shops affiliated with major international diving organizations.
