Penn has been diving since 2004 and he has been teaching scuba diving as a PADI Instructor since 2009. His passion for underwater photography has helped to inspire other divers to learn from his workshops and gain their confidence to compete and win in underwater photo competitions. He created the dive group Batangas Dive Association which is more famously known as Ba.D.Ass. Divers. He loves traveling and sharing his photos on social media to create awareness to environmental protection.

Presently, Penn is working on publishing his first coffee table book that showcases his photos that he collected from more than ten years of shooting. He is also known for his advocacy in protecting our marine environment and helping other people in the diving community. As a speaker for PHIDEX 2022, Penn will be talking about traveling to some new dive destinations in the Philippines and will also be sharing his knowledge about underwater photography.
