Dive Travel Exchange (TRAVEX)

PHIDEX is the only dive show in the region to organize a Dive Travel Exchange (TRAVEX), a series of business-to-business (B2B) meetings, for the growing number of Philippine dive establishments to engage in meaningful networking discussions with foreign buyers during the exhibition proper. Dive TRAVEX 2019 happened on September 21 and 22.

46 international buyers representing top dive operators from 21 source markets and 36 local sellers of dive tourism products and services from top and emerging destinations in the Philippines attended PHIDEX 2019 and participated in the Dive TRAVEX to meet and discuss business opportunities through one-on-one business-to-business (B2B) meetings.

PHIDEX capitalizes on the Philippines brand as the center of the center of marine shore fish biodiversity with a variety of dive sites, to organize post dive familiarization tours for participating Dive TRAVEX buyers and media. Participating buyers and media will have the opportunity to experience first-hand Philippine dive products and services and increase destination knowledge. Destinations for the familiarization tour include: Anilao, Bohol, Camiguin, Coron, Dumaguete, Malapascua, Moalboal, Puerto Galera, Southern Leyte, and Ticao Island.
